Attorney Chris Keating selected as “Volunteer of the Month” by Volunteer Up Legal Clinic

Keating Law Firm’s Chris Keating was selected as Volunteer of the Month by the Volunteer Up Legal Clinic. He presently also serves on the organization’s advisory board.

Chris accepted a pro bono case from the Volunteer Up Legal Clinic and efficiently secured a dismissal with prejudice for the client. The case was an improperly filed breach of contract claim that could have resulted in a judgment against the client, leading to collections, a negative impact on her credit score, and other disastrous consequences. Thanks to Keating Law Firm and the Volunteer Up Legal Clinic, the case was dismissed and the client can move on with her life without the stress of further litigation.

“I am proud of the pro bono work we do serving good people who otherwise could not afford legal representation,” said Keating. “I appreciate the kind words and recognition, and the opportunities to help members of our community through difficult times.”
