Before entering the private sector, Mr. Keating completed a clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part, in Middlesex County. He then served as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Division of Criminal Justice, where he prosecuted and secured convictions in matters of public corruption, fraud and theft committed against government agencies, and wage-theft and dangerous work conditions suffered by exploited workers. For his outstanding work combating government fraud and abuse, Mr. Keating received awards and recognition from the United States Department of Labor and the United States Postal Service.
In 2026, Mr. Keating received the 2026 Voice of Business Award for Personal Excellence from the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce. In 2021, Mr. Keating was recognized as a “New Leader of the Bar” by the New Jersey Law Journal. In 2020, he was named “Young Lawyer of the Year” by the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. From 2021 through 2026, Mr. Keating has been listed as a Rising Star on the annual Super Lawyers list. Also noteworthy, while at Seton Hall Law, Mr. Keating won the law school’s moot court competition after arguing the final round before United States Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor.
Mr. Keating is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York, and is admitted to practice in two federal district courts: the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member and trustee of the National Employment Lawyers Association – New Jersey (NELA-NJ), a member and former trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association, and a member of the Burlington County Bar Association and the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ).
